Richmond Pre-Race Report

JASON KELLER/ DUTCH QUALITY STONE TEAM FAST FACTS:

• The CJM Racing team will make their ninth NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race attempt this weekend at Richmond International Raceway (RIR) after finishing 24th two weeks ago at Bristol Motor Speedway
• Veteran driver Jason Keller will be making his 415th career start this weekend, just two races shy of tying the all-time start record held by Tommy Houston at 417
• Dutch Quality Stone will return as the primary sponsor for Friday’s nights race
• In 24 starts at RIR, Keller has one win, two poles, an average starting and finishing position of 15th
• Keller has six top-five and 11 top-10 finishes at RIR
• Keller has led 190 laps at RIR and has completed 5470 out of the 6006 laps attempted; 91%
• The No. 11 Dutch Quality Stone team will be running chassis # 03 at Richmond; # 03 was last run at New Hampshire International Speedway where the team finished 26th CJM Racing with driver Jason Keller will attempt to qualify for all the remaining NBS races on the 2007 schedule starting this weekend at RIR

JASON KELLER ON RETURNING TO RICHMOND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY:

“I’m anxious to get back to Richmond. It’s been a year since I’ve had a chance to race there and it’s a track I really enjoy. There is plenty of side-by-side racing action and if you can get your car handling correctly passing through the field is not a problem. Its close quarters racing at its best.”

JASON KELLER ON THE IMPORTANCE OF BREAKING THE ALL-TIME START RECORD:

“I want to break it when it’s still the Nationwide Series. I want to be known as the driver with the most Nationwide Series starts. That was one of the things that is important to me. It is also important that people don’t think just because I have broken this record that my career is over. I have enjoyed 16 years in this series and am looking forward to 400 more starts before I even consider retirement.”
