Homestead Pre-Race Report

JASON KELLER / INVESTLINC TEAM - FAST FACTS:

• The CJM Racing team will make their 11th NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) race attempt this weekend at Kansas Speedway after having back-to-back top-10 finishes at Dover (8th) and Richmond (10th)
• Veteran driver Jason Keller will tie a milestone record this weekend as he is set to make career start 417. Tommy Houston currently holds the 417 record
• In 416 starts, Keller has logged more than 86,781 miles around a race track and has earned a record $11,146,725 in career earnings
• InvestLinc, Inc. will return as the primary sponsor of the No. 11 CJM Racing entry at Kansas
• In 5 starts at Kansas, Keller has two top-five and three top-10 finishes
• Keller has an average starting position of 17th and an average finishing position of 12th at Kansas
• The No. 11 InvestLinc team will be running chassis # 01 at Kansas; #  01 is the same chassis run at the Spring Dover race (13th) and at Michigan (22nd)

JASON KELLER ON KANSAS SPEEDWAY:

“I didn’t run at Kansas last year so it’ll take a little bit to get familiar with the feel of the track again. Kansas is really similar to Chicago and fortunately we had an opportunity to run there earlier this year so we know what kind of package we need to bring. From what I recall the track is fast and smooth. It is one of those tracks that we’ll race on the bottom grove at the start and then work our way into two grooves as the race continues. Track position and pit strategy will play a big role in this race.”

THE COUNTDOWN SLOWLY COMES TO A CLOSE FOR THE ALL-TIME START RECORD:

“I guess you could say the moment has finally come for another milestone in my career. It’s been a privilege being a part of the NASCAR Nationwide Series all these years. I’ve had a great career in this series and would love to log 400 more career starts before its all said and done. I’ve found a home in the NBS and as long as I remain competitive I will continue to build on these records.”
