CJM Racing Preparing for the Upcoming 2008 Season
Mooresville, NC (January 10, 2008) - CJM Racing continues with business as usual as the team works a full-time work week preparing for the upcoming Speedweeks at Daytona International Speedway. Throughout the off-season, CJM Racing has built brand new race cars and have spent countless hours at the seven point rig and wind tunnel to help them gain a competitive edge over the other Nationwide Series teams.
The team will have their first opportunity to test out what they have built this off-season as they head to Daytona International Speedway on January 20th for an open test session. This will mark the first of two test sessions that will take place before the season opener at Daytona on February 16th. Shortly after the three day test at Daytona, CJM will head out west to Las Vegas Motor Speedway to evaluate their mile-and-a-half set-up.
CJM Racing made their first appearance in the Nationwide Series last year at Darlington Raceway. After experiencing success in their inaugural event (14th place finish), CJM continued to build on their race program by entering 15 more events on the 2007 schedule. By seasons end, the team had garnered seven top-15 finishes with their highest finish of sixth coming at Nashville Superspeedway in June.
